Red Ginger adds visual interest to gardens and landscapes with its striking appearance and aromatic foliage.

Suitable Climate Condition :

Sunlight: Red Ginger thrives in partial to full shade, making it suitable for shaded garden beds, under trees, or in filtered light conditions. Protect Red Ginger plants from direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day, to prevent leaf scorching.

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but well-drained, as Red Ginger plants prefer humid conditions. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, and mulch around the base of the plants to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.

Soil: Plant Red Ginger in rich, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Amend the soil with organic matter such as compost or aged manure to improve soil fertility, structure, and moisture retention.
