Description : Fiery Costus, scientifically known as Chamaecostus cuspidatus (formerly classified as Costus igneus), is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Costaceae family. Native to tropical regions of India and Southeast Asia, Fiery Costus is valued for its medicinal properties, particularly its role in blood sugar management. The plant features spiral-shaped, lanceolate leaves with prominent veins and vibrant orange-red flowers that emerge from cone-like bracts.

Suitable Climate Condition : Well-draining, fertile soil with a pH level between 6.0 and 7.5 is ideal for Fiery Costus. Loamy or sandy soil enriched with organic matter promotes healthy root development and growth.
