Arjuna Tree

Description : Terminalia arjuna, commonly known as the Arjuna Tree, is a large, deciduous tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It is well known for its therapeutic properties and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. The tree has a wide, spreading crown with smooth, grey bark that flakes off in thin sheets, and it produces small, white to yellowish flowers.

Suitable Climate Condition : Terminalia arjuna thrives in warm, tropical to subtropical climates with temperatures between 20°C and 35°C (68°F to 95°F). It prefers well-drained, fertile soils but can adapt to a variety of soil types, including clay, sandy, and loamy soils. The tree requires moderate rainfall and can tolerate occasional drought once established. It grows well in full sun and benefits from regular watering and pruning to maintain its shape and health.
