Description : Emblica officinalis, commonly known as Indian Gooseberry or Amla, is a deciduous tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It is renowned for its small, round, light green fruits that ripen to yellow-green when mature. The tree has feathery leaves and produces small, pale yellow flowers. Amla is highly valued in traditional medicine and culinary practices.

Suitable Climate Condition : Emblica officinalis thrives in warm, tropical to subtropical climates with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C (68°F to 86°F). It prefers well-drained, sandy or loamy soils and can tolerate a range of soil pH levels. The tree requires moderate rainfall and is drought-tolerant once established. It grows well in full sun to partial shade and benefits from regular pruning to maintain shape and health.
