Spicy Palak Mix
Ingredients:
Palak powder- 50 grams
Dry chilies-5 grams
Sesame seeds-25 grams
Cumin seeds -5 grams
Garlic β 5 bulbs
Tamarind β 10 grams
Asafoetida- 1 gram
Amchur powder-5 grams
Salt- as required
Method of Preparation:
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Roast the sesame seeds until golden brown.
- Roast dry chilies separately
- Mix the palak powder, roasted chilies & sesame seeds, and remaining ingredients in the same pan
- Do the final toast for 1-2 minutes with little rice bran oil on low flame.
- Once the mixture is cooled, transfer it to a mixing jar and grind it into a fine powder
- Serve the spicy palak powder with rice, and breakfast items like dosa, idli, punugulu etc.
